Will Pinnell is one of the world's leading technology experts in corporate travel management. He currently serves as the SVP of the Americas at HRS, responsible for driving corporate sales and brand awareness. He is also the author of "Corporate Insights" a weekly publication and podcast on procurement and travel trends.
As a recognized expert in digital transformation, SAS, cloud computing, and travel products, Will has a proven track record of driving significant revenue and product growth. Over the last few years he's led teams of sales and account managers, software engineers, product owners, solution consultants, marketers, and researchers to produce over $5B in mobile and e-commerce sales annually, $100M in app sales and over half a billion mobile downloads. He speaks publicly and consults regularly on the business, technical, and sustainability challenges facing the travel sector and the opportunities that data science combined with AI/ML brings to this industry.
For the last several years, Will worked at Sabre, BCD Travel and volunteered on the Global Business Travel Association’s Board of Directors. In his most recently elected role at GBTA, he served as the global treasurer and on the Allied Leadership Council for all airline, hotel, car, agency and technology suppliers.
Today, he serves as the SVP of the Americas for HRS where he works on brand awareness, go-to-market strategy, sales and account management and with supplier solutions and procurement consulting. He serves as the Education Chairman for TAMs Ignite and is a frequent speaker at industry events, he shares insights on artificial intelligence, sustainability and other technologies shaping the future of the business travel industry.
